Floss your Teeth

By Rey Vetangelo

Just as any good dentist would tell you, if you want to keep your teeth for the rest of your life, you need to floss them just as much as you need to brush them. Brushing is very effective at attacking the plaque sitting on the surfaces of your teeth.

As much as the company may want to perform the requested service according to the client's schedule, that isn't always possible. Serving multiple clients in an area causes complications and restrictions in the work schedule.

First, you have your incisors at the front of your mouth. These are the front four teeth that are flat on the bottom.

Most people have four incisors on the top and on the bottom, but there are some exceptions to the rule.

So on top of the potential of losing your client forever, you also risk infuriating your already scheduled clients to dissatisfaction with service or appointment scheduling. What can you do to better the situation?

If you have gingivitis you can treat it with a softer toothbrush with good brushing. Floss well and get a good cleaning at your local dentist in Lincoln to finish the job.

Next, you have your canines. These are the two pointy teeth and usually one sits on either side of your incisors.

Here's how you can do it effectively to make sure you 1) do it, and 2) don't hurt yourself. First, you need to make sure that you're doing it every day.

The dentist can either take less time on the procedure and possibly rush through hard steps, or she can take longer and put her behind on her other schedule. Either extreme is stressful.

Fatigue and general laziness can push someone to skip flossing that evening. Like skipping class in college, when you do it once, it becomes easier to do it again.

It is important that teeth are being cared for throughout these stages. Brushing and flossing on a daily basis will ensure that teeth are going to be as free from plaque as possible.

Any service oriented organization can do something similar to increase efficiency in their schedules. Find a smaller time slot that you can create your schedules around and start using it.

Fill multiple slots for longer appointments. You'll find you can fit more people in on a timely basis, increasing your client relationships and improving customer satisfaction.

This substance will stick to your teeth and the plaque can cause some serious problems. The plaque will attack the enamel on your teeth and eventually can cause cavities.

This will only hurt your gums. Be gentle, but persistent and plaque won't have a chance. Combine it with an effort to go see your local dentist in Lincoln twice a year and you will be set. Your consistent efforts will ensure that you stave off gum disease.
